The short version
- Children can play without any account. We never ask a child for personal information.
- A grown-up can add a player using only a nickname, a character (Jas or Jay) and an age band.
- Game results are stored on this device. You can download or delete them at any time from the grown-ups area.
- Cloud backup is not active: this version of the game does not send your child's data anywhere. If it is switched on in future, it will be optional and will need a parent account plus your explicit agreement, checked by a code we email you and confirmed by email the next day.
- There are no adverts, no tracking, no chat, and no way for strangers to contact your child.
- Narration uses your device's built-in voice. If your device only offers online voices, we show captions instead.

What we never do
- open or free-text chat between users
- user-generated content visible to other users
- advertising, sponsored content or behavioural tracking
- unrestricted or generative AI conversation with children
- public profiles, leaderboards or friend lists
- any contact between children and strangers
- in-app purchases, or any link or browser that leads out to the open web
- social feeds, autoplaying videos or endless scrolling
- streaks, loot boxes or other manipulative engagement mechanics
- precise location, camera, microphone or contact access
Your rights
You can see, correct and delete everything we store about your child on this device from the grown-ups area. You can also save a backup file of everything, drawings included, and restore it on this or another device. The file is saved wherever you choose, so keep it somewhere safe: it holds your children's nicknames, progress and drawings. We never receive a copy. Cloud backup is not active, so no copy of your child's data is kept in the cloud. If it is switched on in future: turning it off deletes the cloud copy straight away; deleting a player on this device also deletes them from the cloud (straight away if you are signed in, otherwise the next time you sign in on this device); and “Delete my cloud account” deletes your parent account and everything in it. To make sure it's a parent agreeing to cloud backup, your email address must be confirmed, you enter a code we email you at the time, and we email you a confirmation the next day saying what you agreed to and how to turn it off. Contact details for the data controller will be added before launch.
